Stephen LeBlanc, the host of Browning Expeditions, is an artist with tremendous vision and force. In 1998 alone he won four "Best of Show" ribbons including the prestigious "Peoples Choice" at the Oklahoma Wildlife National Art Show where he was the feature artist. He has been featured in such magazines as Art Review, Sculpture Forum and Vision Magazine. Most recently comes SouthwestArt Magazine, where he is currently featured in the March/April 2011 issue.
Browning Expeditions is moving to Versus Network after a prosperous run on ESPN. Produced by Orion Multimedia, the world leader in outdoor adventure programming, Browning Expeditions features globetrotting, internationally acclaimed artist and world famous big game hunter, Stephen LeBlanc as he searches the globe for the world's best hunting adventures. On his travels he is joined by friends like future hall of fame kicker, Jason Elam, who joined Stephen last season for a caribou hunt. This season's adventures span from Alaska to Africa to Argentina and many points in between.
He was selected as Ducks Unlimited's feature sculptor at their National Art Show in 1994. As a representational sculptor his work represents a lifetime of anatomy study, while animal or human, his detail reflects exceptional artistic skill and love of wildlife.
His work can be found in many college and school campuses as well as major corporations throughout the U.S. including all Sportsman's Warehouse locations. You may also find private collections around the world including those owned by President Ford and the Emperor of Japan. Stephen C. LeBlanc Studios specializes in wildlife bronzes and his special claim to fame is his realistic life-size reproductions of all species of wildlife. His studio has a variety of offerings, ranging from life-size to miniature bronzes.
Stephen's life and art was recently featured in Sports Afield Magazine, as well as Clay Shooter USA, and he will also be featured in the upcoming issue of the Texas Hunting Journal due out this summer.
If you're looking to meet the man behind the art, Stephen is scheduled for an appearance at the Natureworks Art Show on March 4, 5, & 6th at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center, 6808 S. 107th East Ave. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where last year he won "Best in Show". In October he'll appear at the Christian Outdoorsman Convention in California.
