Dorsey Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company, has signed a pair of first-look deals as it continues its expansion into the true-crime genre.
Emmy-nominated true-crime producer Kelly McLear and Randy Williams, a true-crime author, have both signed with Dorsey. McLear is best known for her work on Crime Watch Daily. A leader in martial arts, private investigator and true-crime author, Williams has appeared on the crime podcast The Lineup and wrote Sherlock Holmes and the Autumn of Terror.
“As we bring our unique view into the world of crime, we want to align with longtime experts in the field that have a pulse on the most compelling stories and characters,” said Chris Dorsey, founding partner of Dorsey Pictures. “Kelly and Randy have unique skillsets and decades of experience, along with tremendous trust in their field.” |

Dorsey Pictures furthers true crime expansion with Red Arrow Studios deal
Dorsey Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company, has expanded its true crime portfolio by signing Emmy Award-nominated true crime producer Kelly McLear and true crime author Randy William to first-look deals.
Dorsey’s first true crime project, Slender Man Stabbing: The Untold Story, premiered Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Reelz.
McLear is best known for her work on Crime Watch Daily, while Williams is a true crime author whose latest book, Sherlock Holmes and the Autumn of Terror, has been featured on the popular crime podcast The Lineup.
